Text

(a)All certificates shall be renewed annually or biennially at the discretion of the State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Professional Surveyors.
(b)Certificates of licensure for professional surveyors and surveyor interns shall be renewed by the board to persons who are holders of certificates issued under this chapter who have furnished evidence satisfactory to the board of compliance with the requirements of § 17-48-206(b) .
(c)(1) (A) Notwithstanding subsection (b) of this section, a professional surveyor or surveyor intern licensed under this chapter who is not engaged in the practice of land surveying may request in writing that the board place his or her name on the board's inactive roll, thereby granting him or her inactive status and protecting his or her rig
