(a)There is created the State Board of Registered Residential Interior Designers.
(b)(1) The State Board of Registered Residential Interior Designers shall consist of seven (7) members. Of the seven (7) members of the State Board of Registered Residential Interior Designers:
(A)Five (5) shall be registered residential interior designers, one (1) of whom may be a professional full-time design educator, registered or unregistered;
(B)One (1) shall be an architect licensed by the Arkansas State Board of Architects, Landscape Architects, and Interior Designers who provides design services; and (C) One (1) shall be a consumer.
(2)Members shall be appointed for terms of five (5) years.
(3)Vacancies shall be filled by appointment by the Governor for the unexpired term.
