§ 17-27-502 — Administration of compact - Rules

(a)The Arkansas Board of Examiners in Counseling is the Counseling Compact administrator for this state.

(b)The board may adopt rules that are consistent with the Counseling Compact necessary to implement this subchapter.

(c)The board is not required to adopt the rules of the Counseling Compact Commission for those rules to be effective in this state.

(d)For the purposes of the member state's ability to reject a rule under Section 11(C) of the Counseling Compact, Arkansas delegates its authority in this provision to the General Assembly or the Legislative Council.
