(a)(1) Each artist, artist instructor, and student artist shall complete United States Occupational Safety and Health Administration blood-borne pathogens training approved by the Department of Health.
(2)An approved online course may be used to satisfy the requirement under subdivision (a)(1) of this section.
(b)Each artist instructor shall complete the course before training any student artist.
(c)Each student artist shall complete the course before applying for the examination required under § 17-26-608 .
(d)(1) After completion of a first United States Occupational Safety and Health Administration blood-borne pathogens training approved by the department, an artist, an artist instructor, and a student artist shall renew the training annually.
