(a)In connection with its investigations and hearings, the Arkansas Orthotics, Prosthetics, and Pedorthics Advisory Board may:
(1)Issue a subpoena to require any individual who has information germane to an investigation or a hearing conducted by the board to testify before the board; and (2) Issue a subpoena duces tecum to require to be transmitted to the board any book, writing, document, or other paper or thing that is germane to an investigation or a hearing conducted by the board.
(b)(1) Service of a subpoena or a subpoena duces tecum shall be as provided by law for the service of a subpoena or a subpoena duces tecum in a civil case in a circuit court of this state.
