Text

(a)The Department of Health shall revoke or suspend a license, place on probation a person whose license has been suspended, or reprimand a licensee upon a determination of:
(1)Any violation of this chapter; or (2) Any violation of a rule or code of ethics adopted by the State Board of Health.
(b)If a license suspension is probated, the department may require the licensee to:
(1)Report on a regular basis to the department on matters that are the basis of the probation;
(2)Limit practice to the areas prescribed by the department; or (3) Continue the person's professional education until the licensee reaches a degree of skill satisfactory to the department in those areas that are the basis of the probation.
