I. Factual and Procedural History On 18 November 2013, a Guilford County grand jury indicted Defendant Brandon Tyrone Curtis for breaking and/or entering, larceny after breaking/entering, and possession of stolen property. On 7 April 2014, the grand jury indicted Curtis for attaining the status of an habitual felon. These charges were joined for a jury trial during the 18 August 2014 criminal session of Guilford County Superior Court.
