970.5227-11 Patent rights—management and operating contracts, for-profit contractor, non-technology transfer. As prescribed in 970.2702-2(b), insert the following clause: Patent Rights—Management and Operating Contracts, for-Profit Contractor, Non-Technology Transfer (DEC 2024)

(a)Definitions—Department of Energy (DOE), as used in this clause, includes the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), and unless otherwise identified or indicated, includes the coordinated efforts of the DOE and NNSA. DOE licensing regulations means the Department of Energy patent licensing regulations at 10 CFR part 781. DOE patent waiver regulations means the Department of Energy patent waiver regulations at 10 CFR part 784. Invention means any invention or discovery which is or may be patentable
