Text

The commissioners of any drainage district within the state of Wyoming shall not incur any indebtedness for current expenses of the district in excess of the amount provided in the budget: provided, however, in case a greater sum than that provided in the budget is required the commissioners may file a petition setting forth the causes therefor, with the clerk of the court having jurisdiction of said district. Immediately upon the filing of said petition the court shall make an order fixing the time and place of hearing and directing the form and manner of notice thereof to be given if the court deem such hearing advisable. If the court shall authorize the expenditure of a greater sum of money the commissioners shall be authorized to incur indebtedness equal to the amount of the additional
