Text
(a)Any person who knowingly and intentionally violates
W.S. 35-7-111 is guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by
imprisonment for not more than six (6) months, a fine of not
more than seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00), or both. Upon a
subsequent conviction under W.S. 35-7-111, the person may be
punished by imprisonment for not more than one (1) year, a fine
of not more than one thousand five hundred dollars ($1,500.00),
or both.
(b)No person may be convicted under W.S. 35-7-111 if he
established a guaranty or undertaking signed by, and containing
the name and address of, the person from whom he received the
article in good faith, to the effect that the article is not
adulterated or misbranded within the meaning of this act and if
he furnishes on request of the director the name and addr
