Text
(a)There is created a nonprofit legal entity to be known
as the Wyoming life and health insurance guaranty association.
All member insurers are members of the association as a
condition of their authority to transact insurance or health
maintenance organization business in this state. The association
shall perform its functions under the plan of operation
established and approved under W.S. 26-42-108 and shall exercise
its powers through a board of directors provided by W.S. 26-42-
105. For purposes of administration and assessment the
association shall maintain the three (3) following accounts:
(i)The life insurance account;
(ii)The health account; and
(iii)The annuity account.
(b)The association is under the supervision of the
commissioner and is subject to the applicable provisions
