§ 1-41-110 — Applicability

(a) This act applies to claims based upon acts, errors or
omissions occurring on and after October 1, 1985.
(b) This act applies to claims against peace officers
employed by the University of Wyoming but does not apply to
other claims against the University of Wyoming unless the
university notifies the risk manager in writing on or before
August 15 that it elects to be covered by this act for the
period beginning July 1 of the succeeding fiscal year. If the
University of Wyoming elects to be covered by this act, it shall
continue the coverage for not less than three (3) years from the
date the coverage begins.
