Text
Any officer refusing to deliver the remains or dead body of the
deceased person, when demanded in accordance with the provisions
of this act and the rules and regulations set forth by the state
department of health, shall pay a penalty of not less than fifty
dollars ($50.00), nor more than one hundred dollars ($100.00);
such penalties to be sued for by the department of health as the
case may be.
