Text
An officer of a corporation who refuses or neglects to deliver
any money or other thing pursuant to such demand is guilty of
contempt of court and shall be fined not exceeding ten thousand
dollars ($10,000.00) and imprisoned in the county jail until he
complies with the order of the court or is otherwise discharged
by law. He is liable to the trustees for the value of all money
or other things refused or neglected to be surrendered, together
with all damages that are sustained by the stockholders and
creditors of the corporation in consequence of the neglect or
refusal.
