§ 2-3-117 — Ordering further security without application
When it comes to his knowledge that the bond of a personal
representative is insufficient, the court or commissioner,
without any application, shall cause him to be cited to appear
and show cause why he should not give further security, and
shall proceed as upon the application of any person interested.
