Text
Every elected or appointed county officer required or permitted
to receive and pay to the county treasurer any taxes, fines,
fees or other monies shall no later than the twenty-fifth day of
each month following the month of collection pay the same to the
county treasurer and take his official receipt therefor. If the
money has not been deposited by the twenty-fifth day of the
month following the month of collection, the elected or
appointed county officer shall be reported by the county
treasurer to the board of county commissioners at their next
meeting. Each elected or appointed county officer shall prepare
a monthly statement showing the source of all monies received by
him and file it with the county clerk for presentation to the
board of county commissioners.
