Text
The city engineer shall keep records of all work done for the
city and any other records the governing body requires. All such
records are public records belonging to the city and shall be
turned over to any successor to the office. The city may employ
other engineers or assistants for any work for the city either
within or without the city limits. Any work done by the city
engineer for the city, outside the limits thereof, shall be
expressly provided by ordinance.
