§ 33-24-131 — Exemptions; sale of certain articles

The provisions of this act shall not apply to the sale at wholesale or sale by any method at retail of economic poisons, medical and dental supplies, cosmetics, dietary foods, or nonnarcotic, nonprescription, prepackaged medicinal preparations contained in distinctive and original unbroken containers, when such medicinal preparations are identified by and sold under a trade name of the manufacturer or primary distributor thereof and are sold or offered for sale to the general public, if such articles meet the requirements of state and federal food, drug and cosmetic laws; provided however, that notwithstanding the above, any drug, medicinal preparation, or substance for use by man which is determined by the state board of pharmacy, after notice to the manufacturer or primary distributor th
