Text
(a)No individual or group life insurance policy or long-
term care insurance policy shall:
(i)Deny or cancel coverage to a covered person
solely on the basis of the person's status as a living organ
donor or as an organ transplant recipient without any unique and
material actuarial risks in accordance with sound actuarial
principles and without any actual and reasonably anticipated and
expected experience of a person on the basis of their status as
a living organ donor or as an organ transplant recipient;
(ii)Deny a covered person eligibility or continued
eligibility to enroll or to renew coverage under the terms of a
policy, contract or certificate, solely on the basis of the
person's status as a living organ donor or as an organ
transplant recipient without any unique and material act
