Text
(a)There is created the office of water programs within
the office of research at the University of Wyoming. The office
of water programs shall:
(i)Work directly with the director of the Wyoming
water development office to identify research needs of state and
federal agencies regarding Wyoming's water resources, including
funding under the National Institutes of Water Resources (NIWR);
(ii)Serve as a point of coordination for and to
encourage research activities by the University of Wyoming to
address the research needs identified in paragraph (i) of this
subsection;
(iii)In conjunction with the Wyoming water
development office, submit a report annually prior to each
legislative session to the select water committee and the
