(a)In the formulation of these plans the commission may:
(i)Repealed by Laws 1979, ch. 59, § 5.
(ii)Consult with and receive the views of persons,
local groups and organizations representing water users, special
interests, industries and the public interest, and acquire data
and information relating to water, water use, water
conservation, and water quality from government agencies,
departments and other sources;
(iii)Coordinate the water resources plans with other
government agencies and departments;
(iv)Undertake studies, investigations, surveys and
research relevant to the formulation of the water resources
plans and enter into contracts and arrangements for the same
with any government agency, department, or any person, firm,
university, institution, or state or national organizat
