Text
When any personal property is attached or levied upon under
execution, the judgment creditor shall pay the amount then due
the vendor or the assignee of vendor under the sale, contract or
lease, and proceed to sell the personal property the same as if
title and ownership were in the vendee. If the judgment creditor
elects to pay the vendor or assignee of vendor, the bill of sale
of the sheriff or person selling under execution shall convey to
the purchaser at the execution sale all of the right, title and
interest of the vendor to the personal property.
