Text
(a)Upon written request of the board of supervisors of
the conservation district or districts involved, with a showing
that the request is approved by a majority vote of the members
of each board involved the commission may, by administrative
order:
(i)Transfer lands from one district to another;
(ii)Divide a single district into two (2) or more
districts, each of which shall thereafter operate as a separate
district; or
(iii)Consolidate two (2) or more districts to
operate thereafter as a single district.
(b)The secretary of state shall make and issue a
corrected certificate of organization upon receipt of such
certification from the commission.
(c)Petitions for a change in the name of a conservation
district may be submitted to the commission by the board of
supervisors of a conser
