Text
(a)A sentence of death shall be executed within the
confines of a state penal institution designated by the director
of the department of corrections, before the hour of sunrise on
the day specified in the warrant which shall not be less than
thirty (30) days after the date of the judgment.
(b)The execution shall be carried out under the
supervision and direction of the director of the department of
corrections.
