Text

A person who violates any order, rule or regulation of the commission made under the authority of this chapter, or who violates any provisions of this chapter for which punishment has not been specifically provided, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction shall be fined not less than $10 nor more than $500 or confined in jail not less than five days nor more than six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment. If, by the provisions of this chapter, conflicting penalties are prescribed for an offense, the section providing for the heavier penalty shall control.
