Text

(a)The number of magistrates to be elected in each county of this state shall be determined in accordance with the provisions of this section.
(b)Beginning on the effective date of this subsection and until December 31, 2024, the number of magistrates in each county of the state shall be as follows:
(1)Barbour County shall have two magistrates;
(2)Berkeley County shall have six magistrates;
(3)Boone County shall have two magistrates;
(4)Braxton County shall have two magistrates;
(5)Brooke County shall have two magistrates;
(6)Cabell County shall have seven magistrates;
(7)Calhoun County shall have two magistrates;
(8)Clay County shall have two magistrates;
(9)Doddridge County shall have two magistrates;
(10)Fayette County shall have four magistrates;
(11)Gilmer Cou
