(a)Neither the director of the commission, nor any member or employee of the commission, may be financially interested, or have any beneficial personal interest, direct or indirect, in any person furnishing video lottery terminals or video lottery games, or in any person who is a bidder for video lottery terminals, or who is a holder of a license issued under this article.
(b)Neither the director of the commission, nor any member or employee of the commission, may accept or receive, directly or indirectly, from any person known by the director, commission member or employee of the commission to be interested in any bid, contract or licensee under this article, by rebate, gift or otherwise, any money or other thing of value whatsoever, or any promise, obligation or contract for future re
