(a)Following the establishment of a regional facility pursuant to the Appalachian States Low-Level Radioactive Waste Compact, the director of health, the Attorney General or the prosecuting attorney of any county in which a violation occurs may seek in the name of the state an injunction against any person in violation of any of the provisions of said Compact, this article or the rules and regulations promulgated pursuant to said Compact or this article. In seeking such an injunction it is not necessary for the state to post bond nor to allege or prove at any stage of the proceeding that irreparable harm will occur if the injunction is not issued or that the remedy of the law is inadequate.
