898.03 Such notice shall be served by delivering a copy thereof to the plaintiff, the plaintiff’s agent or attorney 24 hours before the time for the hearing of such application, if the plaintiff lives within 20 miles of the place designated for the hearing; and for every additional 20 miles or part thereof that the plaintiff resides from such place 24 hours shall be added to the time of such service.
