616.58 616.58(1) (1) 616.58(1)(a) (a) A provider shall not use in its name used in this state the words “insurance,” “casualty,” “surety,” or “mutual” or any other words descriptive of the insurance, casualty, or surety business; or a name deceptively similar to the name or description of any insurance or surety corporation, or to the name of any other provider. The word “guaranty” or a similar word may be used by a provider. 616.58(1)(b) (b) Paragraph (a) does not apply to a provider that was using any language prohibited under par.
