229.12 229.12(1) (1) The public museum shall be administered by a board of 10 trustees, consisting of: 229.12(1)(a) (a) The president of the board of school directors and the city superintendent of schools. 229.12(1)(b) (b) Seven members who shall be appointed by the mayor on the 3rd Tuesday in April. Three of the 7 members shall be selected from among the alderpersons holding a 4-year term, and shall serve as such trustees during their aldermanic terms; and the other 4 shall be selected from among the residents and taxpayers of the city, for original terms of 1, 2, 3 and 4 years, respectively, commencing on May 1 next after their appointment, and for successive terms of 4 years each. 229.12(1)(c) (c) One member who shall be a county board member residing in the county outside the city of
