226.01 In this chapter “foreign corporation” means all corporations, associations and joint stock companies organized otherwise than under the laws of this state, except railroad corporations, associations created solely for religious or charitable purposes, insurers, motor clubs, building and loan associations and corporations not organized or conducted for profit.
