Text

(1)A person may not sell, solicit, or negotiate supplemental long-term care insurance unless the person is appropriately licensed as an insurance producer and has successfully completed supplemental long-term care coverage education that meets the requirements of this section and:
(a)Has successfully completed long-term care coverage education that meets the requirements of RCW 48.83.130 ; and
(b)Has completed an approved one-hour course on supplemental long-term care insurance that includes education on:
(i)The provisions of chapter 50B.04 RCW and any rules adopted to implement the long-term services and supports trust program;
(ii)The relationship between benefits offered under chapter 50B.04 RCW, qualified state long-term care insurance partnership programs, and other public an
