(1)When a policyholder purchases a supplemental long-term care insurance policy, the issuer must request written consent from the policyholder to share information with the department of social and health services. If the policyholder provides written consent, the issuer must inform the department of social and health services that the policyholder has purchased a supplemental long-term care insurance policy and share any information with the department for the purposes of any potential care coordination.
(2)Only basic demographic information that would allow a person to be identified in the program provided in chapter 50B.04 RCW may be shared if the individual consents to sharing information. No health care information as defined in RCW 70.02.010 or data on claims may be shared. Effec
