Text

Policies and contracts of insurance under this chapter shall contain a provision to the effect that the insolvency or bankruptcy of the employer and the employer’s discharge in bankruptcy shall not relieve the insurance carrier from the payment of compensation for injuries or death sustained by an employee during the life of the policy or contract. (Amended 2023, No. 85 (Adj. Sess.), § 150, eff. July 1, 2024.)
