§ 913 — Powers of Secretary

Vermont·Title 6 Title 6: Agriculture·Ch. 81 Chapter 081: Insecticides, Fungicides, and Rodenticides

The Secretary may, after opportunity for a hearing:

(1)declare as a pest any form of plant or animal life or virus that is injurious to plants, humans, domestic animals, articles, or substances;
(2)determine whether economic poisons are highly toxic to humans; and
(3)determine standards of coloring or discoloring for economic poisons and subject economic poisons to the requirements of subdivision 919(4) of this title.
