Text

(a)The bylaws of a cooperative shall determine the method of election and term of office of the directors.
(b)Existing bylaws shall govern until duly amended. Those cooperatives that have in the past in compliance with their bylaws elected their directors to serve for staggered terms of three or four years may continue the practice. (Amended 1975, No. 108, § 1, eff. April 30, 1975; 1999, No. 143 (Adj. Sess.), § 12.)
