Text
(a)Maple syrup hydrometers sold in this State shall be tested, approved, and so marked by the Agency before any are sold, offered, or exposed for sale or distributed by any person.
(b)All maple sap hydrometers used in this State for testing the sugar content of maple sap for the purpose of computing its selling price shall be permanently marked with a nonrepetitive serial number and shall be tested by the Agency for accuracy. When a maple sap hydrometer has been tested and approved as meeting those standards established by regulation, the Secretary may issue a certificate of accuracy. (Added 1981, No. 235 (Adj.
