Text
(a)If a question of representation exists, the Board shall conduct a secret ballot election to determine the exclusive representative of the unit of early care and education providers. The original ballot shall be prepared to permit a vote against representation by anyone named on the ballot. The labor organization receiving a majority of votes cast shall be certified by the Board as the exclusive representative of the unit of early care and education providers. In any election in which there are three or more choices, including the choice of “no union,” and none of the choices on the ballot receives a majority, a runoff election shall be conducted by the Board. The ballot shall provide for a selection between the two choices receiving the largest and second largest number of valid votes
