§ 803 — Applicability of general corporation law

Vermont·Title 11 Title 11: Corporations, Partnerships and Associations·Ch. 3 Chapter 003: Incorporation of Professional Persons
The general corporation law under chapters 1 and 17 of this title shall be applicable to professional corporations and they shall enjoy the powers and privileges and be subject to the duties, restrictions, and liabilities of other corporations, except where inconsistent with the letter and purpose of this chapter. This chapter shall take precedence in the event of any conflict with provisions of the general corporation law or other laws. (1963, No. 218, § 4, eff. July 3, 1963.)
