Text
(a)The Supreme Court shall prescribe reasonable rates of compensation for the services of attorneys, assigned under sections 5272 or 5274 of this title, who have not entered into a contract with the Defender General to provide assigned counsel services.
(b)The Defender General shall enter into contract with a member of the bar to serve as assigned counsel coordinator, who shall determine those expenses, necessary to representation, for which assigned counsel shall be reimbursed. The Defender General may not supervise the duties of the assigned counsel coordinator, but the assigned counsel coordinator shall consult with the Defender General concerning the assigned counsel budget.
