Text

(1)There is created within the society the Utah Women's History Initiative under the administration and supervision of the director or the designee of the director.
(2)The Utah Women's History Initiative shall:
(2)(a) function as an educational outlet for the society to educate the public on the contribution of women to Utah history;
(2)(b) bring attention to the stories of women to deepen understanding and appreciation of women's roles in Utah history;
(2)(c) provide support to museums, historical organizations, and other cultural organizations to promote and preserve the history of women in Utah; and
(2)(d) stimulate research, study, and activity in the field of women's history.
