Text

(1)There is created within the division the Community Library Enhancement Fund Grant Program, consisting of grants to be distributed to certified public libraries within the state for:
(1)(a) collection development;
(1)(b) patron-facing technology;
(1)(c) programming;
(1)(d) compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, 42 U.S.C. 12101 et seq.; and
(1)(e) minor capital projects.
(2)The division shall:
(2)(a) establish a formula-based grant application process that includes the following data points:
(2)(a)(i) service area;
(2)(a)(ii) population served;
(2)(a)(iii) local operating expenditures;
(2)(a)(iv) median household income; and
(2)(a)(v) state certification status;
(2)(b) assign and distribute funding based on the established criteria described in Subsection (2)(a); a
