Text

(1)There is created within the department the Division of Arts and Museums under the administration and general supervision of the executive director or the designee of the executive director.
(2)The division shall:
(2)(a) advance the interests of arts and museums in the state in all stages of development;
(2)(b) promote and encourage the development of arts, museums, and culture in the state;
(2)(c) support the efforts of state and local government and nonprofit arts, museums, and cultural organizations to encourage the development of arts, museums, and culture in the state;
(2)(d) provide assistance to museums in the state to improve museums' ability to:
(2)(d)(i) care for and manage collections;
(2)(d)(ii) develop quality educational resources such as exhibitions, collections, and pub
