Text

(1)There is created within the division the Utah Multicultural Commission.
(2)The commission shall consist of the following 13 members, appointed by the governor:
(2)(a) one individual who advises the governor on education issues;
(2)(b) one individual who advises the governor on homelessness issues;
(2)(c) one individual who advises the governor on legislative policy;
(2)(d) one individual who advises the governor on criminal and juvenile justice issues;
(2)(e) one individual who advises the governor on issues concerning families and children; and
(2)(f) eight individuals who represent Utah's multicultural communities.
(3)(3)(a) A member of the commission:
(3)(a)(i) shall serve for a term of two years; and
(3)(a)(ii) may not serve more than two terms.
