§ 76-9-106 — Disrupting the operation of a school.

(1)Terms defined in Section 76-1-101.5 apply to this section.
(2)An actor commits disrupting the operation of a school if the actor:
(2)(a) is on the property of a private or public school, including property being used by the school for a school function;
(2)(b) has the purpose of encouraging or creating an unreasonable and substantial disruption or risk of disruption of a class, activity, program, or other function of the school; and
(2)(c) remains on the property after being requested to leave by a school official.
(3)A violation of Subsection (2) is a class B misdemeanor.
