(1)(1)(a) As used in this section:
(1)(a)(i) "Board member" means the same as that term is defined in Section 76-8-316.
(1)(a)(ii) "Family member" means the same as that term is defined in Section 76-8-316.
(1)(a)(iii) "Judge" means the same as that term is defined in Section 76-8-316.
(1)(b) Terms defined in Sections 76-1-101.5 and 76-8-101 apply to this section.
(2)An actor commits attempted murder with intent to impede, intimidate, interfere, or retaliate against a judge, board member, or family member if the actor commits attempted murder on a judge, a board member, or a family member with the intent to impede, intimidate, or interfere with the judge or board member while engaged in the performance of the judge's or board member's official duties, or with the intent to retaliate agai
