Text
(1)(1)(a) As used in this section, "camping" means:
(1)(a)(i) erecting or occupying structures, including tents, temporary structures, recreational vehicles, travel trailers, or motor vehicles, for camping or other living accommodation activities, including sleeping, for any period of time;
(1)(a)(ii) using camping-related items, including cots, beds, sleeping bags, or hammocks, for sleeping or other living accommodation activities; or
(1)(a)(iii) cooking using a camp fire, propane stove, or other heat-producing portable cooking equipment.
(1)(b) Terms defined in Sections 76-1-105.1 and 76-1-201 apply to this section.
(2)An actor commits unsanctioned camping if the actor is camping on state property unless the state expressly authorizes camping on the state property.
