Text
(1)(1)(a) As used in this section:
(1)(a)(i) "Burglary" means an offense under Section 76-6-202.
(1)(a)(ii) "Connected service" means electrical, Internet, or telephone service.
(1)(b) Terms defined in Sections 76-1-101.5 and 76-6-201 apply to this section.
(2)An actor commits interruption of a connected service in the commission of a burglary if, in attempting, committing, or fleeing from a burglary, the actor knowingly damages, disables, or interrupts a connected service.
(3)A violation of Subsection (2) is a third degree felony.
