Text
(1)There is created the Department of Financial Institutions that is responsible for the execution of the laws of this state relating to a financial institution or other person subject to this title, and relating to the businesses that the financial institution or other person conducts.
(2)The department organization includes:
(2)(a) the commissioner of financial institutions, who shall be the chief executive officer of the department;
(2)(b) the Board of Financial Institutions;
(2)(c) the chief examiner;
(2)(d) the deputy commissioner;
(2)(e) the supervisor of banks;
(2)(f) the supervisor of industrial banks;
(2)(g) the supervisor of credit unions;
(2)(h) the supervisor of money services businesses;
(2)(i) the supervisor of holding companies; and
(2)(j) other supervisors, examiners, an
